Mr Cooper- Notes Photography - Classwork/Homework

Introduction:
The task was to take photos of a person, to create  portrait. We then had to photoshop the images with saturation.

What I have learnt:
I have learnt when taking portraits it is important to choose lighting and backgrounds wisely due to the story the photo is telling.

How will this help me:
This will help me as I will think about lighting and backgrounds more when taking photos.

Whole person - Long shot

Waist up- Medium shot
Just face- neck-close up.

Think about location your taking your picture in.

Lighting, background, where is the model  looking, pose, where the model should be looking.

Take more than 3 Shots for each one - long, Medium, Close.

At least 9 shots.

Aperture= How much light is let into the camera.

Next Lesson Wednesday 23rd: All pictures due in, to upload to Photoshop.

Tips:

  • You need to organise who your model is going to be.
  • You need to plan where and when, you are going to take your photographs.
  • Then bring photos in.
