UNIT 1 - OVERVIEW: MRS FROST.

18.1.16

Unit 1, has been very interesting as I have learnt about pre production, how to film an advert and how to edit. Firstly, learning about pre production has taught me and has given me an insight into what pre production consists off. Also, pre production was important to learn in assignment 1, as it gave us the information and ability to move onto assignment two which consisted of a pitch then finally moving onto the advert making. Moreover, assignment two allowed us to pitch our idea of the type of advert we wanted to make. Eventually, we moved onto assignment three which allowed us to put our idea into a real life advert. We tried our very best to stick to our original plan, and we where very lucky that our advert consisted of the original plan. We had backup in place, but we did not need our contingency plan as our group where motivated to make the advert.  In assignment three it highlights vividly that we where able to stick to our assignment two pitch for our advert. Lastly, I have enjoyed until 1 as I have learnt what pre production portrays and how to make an up to standard advert.

Evaluate the meetings and the Advert: ASSIGNMENT 3: MRS FRSOT

18.1.16

During assignment three I feel our group worked well, whilst discussing our every move for our advert to go ahead.  Moreover, all our meetings included our groups decisions, everyone had an input into the meetings. Also, our meetings where precise for a clear, fresh advert production. For example, if we had a ten minute meeting we made sure after that meeting we updated our notes. When making the advert we referred back to all our pre production meetings. Furthermore, once our advert was complete we still updated our notes during the editing stage. The editting consists of more meetings to make sure we spent a certain time on the editing. Once the editing was complete we worked on updating our notes on how the editing went and who was there and who did what during the editing stages. Our pitch in assignment two links to our advert, we kept linking back to our pitch to make sure everything was included which we said was going to be included. Also, the creation of the advert implemented our idea from our pitch. To conclude, assignment three went according to plan because we kept referring back to our assignment two pitch. We did not use a contingency plan(backup plan), because what we planned in assignment two took place smoothly in assignment two.
